Leaving Comments Is Now Easier

I've had a few people email me (and a FB friend talk about blogs in general) about not having to sign in to leave comments, and how they hate those annoying word things you have to type in in order to validate your comment.

I am concerned about spammers leaving junk comments, and I don't really have time to authorize each comment as it comes in, so I figured having to sign-in would help with that. And I didn't realize I had it set to ask for word verification.

We're going to try an experiment... I've set it to allow anonymous to leave comments and not to ask for word verification. Hopefully everything works out wonderfully, but if there are too many spam comments, I'll have to put it back to the original status.

So there ya go, Sarah. ;P

  2. Hi, I have been reading your blog since January and I think you guys are doing great! Also, thanks for allowing anonymous comments, I didn't have any of the accounts created and was lazy to make one. Another dessert idea for easter could be lemon meringue pie. I made it from America's test kitchen recipe book, you could change the crust to be almond crust and the rest is pretty much eggs. I halved the sugar in each step, which could also easily be substituted with honey...Anyways, keep up the great work! By the way, there is definitely a good difference in your before and after pictures!

Good idea on the pie; I'll try to make it soon!

  3. I often use an almond crust for cheesecake and other desserts, and I've had several non-paleo folks tell me that they like it better than graham cracker crust. Here is what I do:

    2 cups almond flour
    1 stick butter, melted
    1-2 tbsp honey

Mix it up, press into your pan or springform, and bake on 375 until golden.

  4. Yay! I've left a few comments but sometimes just don't want to go through the sign in, word verify, etc.
    Thanks!
